MuseumNext, teknoloji ve yenilik alanında düzenlediği konferanslarla son yıllarda öne çıkan bir müzecilik buluşması. 18-20 Haziran tarihleri arasında Newcastle’da 6.sı düzenlenen konferansın konuşmacıları arasında dünyanın birçok ”lider” müze kurumunun yöneticileri yer alıyor. Ziyaretçilere interaktif deneyimler sunulan projelerin ve deneyimlerin paylaşıldığı bu konferanslar, yeni müzecilik anlayışı ekseninde geliştirilen uygulamaları tanımak açısından bir fırsat.

Yenilikçi müze projelerini teşvik etmeye devam eden MuseumNext bu yıl programa yeni bir bölüm ekledi: MuseumNext Awards. Newcastle’da açıklanacak ödülü hangi uygulamanın kazanacağını merakla bekliyorum.

MuseumNext is a distinguished museuology reunion on innovation and technology in museums. The sixth conference will be held in Newcastle, UK between June 18 and 22. MuseumNext gathers together the opinion leader delegates from all around the world. It offers a unique opportunity to discover new interactive applications and projects developed in the context of new museology.

MuseumNext continues to support innovative museum projects by adding a new section to the programme: MuseumNext Awards. I’m curious about the award winning project, which will be announced in New Castle.
Because of the visa obligations, I missed the chance to attend to the MuseumNext as a voluntary this year. Fingers crossed for the next time.
